If you have never visited the Environmental Working Group's website, you should. It's loaded with information and research and calls to action to get government to make changes. A helpful tool that they provide is a list of the cleanest (retain the least pesticides) and dirtiest (retain the most pesticides) produce. This list will help you choose which produce to buy organic and which it is OK to buy traditional. They just updated their list so check it out here. You can download a convenient pocket size version to keep in your purse when shopping.
