The other day I looked out our living room window and saw this little mushroom forest growing in our front yard. There used to be a tree there, but my hubby cut it down 2 years ago. So now these mushrooms are growing out of the dead roots that are still underground. Well, they WERE growing. The forest was removed on Tuesday. :)

ReplyDeleteLove it! I actually love mushrooms. We get them in our backyard. We leave them until we run them over with the lawnmower. I associate mushrooms with fairies and gardens, for some reason. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat thing to discover.
ReplyDeleteCool picture but I would have removed them also. Shae would have tried to eat them. LOL.

Mushrooms give me the creeps!! I don't know why.. but they do!!
ReplyDeleteWe used to get TONS of mushrooms at our old house, happily I haven't seen any here....yet! Happy WW!
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one that doesn't know the connection between mushrooms and trees?? They look cool but I think I might have had to de-forest too!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter thinks that mushrooms growing in the yard is so cool. It irritates me. My biggest fear is that the kids will think it is ok to eat them since they are mushrooms.
