A few weeks ago I picked up a couple of organic tomato plants at our CSA farm. Despite a ton of rain, they are doing very well. I can't wait for them to ripen so I can enjoy some fresh homegrown tomatoes.

I am so envious of all the tomatoes, mine have done nothing.
ReplyDeleteNice! Mine are still just yellow flowers.
ReplyDeleteThose tomatoes are looking mighty good! I have visions of salsa dancing in my head!
ReplyDeleteYum Yum YUM!! They look delicious! I'm waiting {im}patiently for mine to ripen as well!
ReplyDeleteI really want some home grown tomatoes
ReplyDeleteMmmm! Nothing better than tomatoes fresh off the vine. I can't wait for ours!
ReplyDeleteWhat? No fried green tomatoes? I loooove them. Our tomatoes are just starting to grow so we have a little bit of a wait. We could use a nice rain actually. Its been so hot and dry here.
ReplyDeleteOkay.. I have a twisted mind.. but the first picture doesn't look like tomatoes!! LOL
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures. Nothing is better then home grown veggies. We have 4-5 tomato plants and are actually starting to get some grape tomatoes. Can't wait for more to grow in. Either can Shae. LOL
ReplyDeleteYUM! I absolutely LOVE home grown tomatoes!! Can I come over and pick some?? ;)
ReplyDeleteAwesome! We still don't have any tomatoes, but hopefully soon.
ReplyDeleteI've NEVER had a fresh home grown tomato. At least not that I remember - I bet they are good
ReplyDeleteThey look great!
ReplyDeleteYou're tomatoes look GREAT! We've gone through a whole batch already and isn't it a sight for sore eyes when they start turning? Love it! The ultimate question for you... how do you keep the birds away?
ReplyDeleteThat's neat that you get to pick your own at your CSA. We didn't get to do that when we belonged to one.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the linky too.
Angie
I sure wish I would have grown some this year!
ReplyDeleteThey're lookin good! :)
ReplyDeleteLovely! There's nothing like fresh, homegrown tomatoes!
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous! Moles are killing one of my tomato plants and squirrels keep eating the grape tomatoes on another plant.
ReplyDeleteGAH!
mmm home grown veggies are the best!
ReplyDeleteYummy! So green and pretty!

ReplyDeleteYAY!!! That is about the size of my tomatoes too :) Soon, you and I will be eating yummy BLTs!!
ReplyDeleteBobbie, I thought the same thing!
ReplyDeleteCool shots! You girls that garden and can keep plants alive are my heroes. I hope you will be enjoying your tomatoes soon!
ReplyDeleteThose look wonderful! I LOVE tomatoes in the summer for sandwiches, with fresh mozzarella and basil or just as a snack by themselves (especially the cherry or grape ones) with a tiny bit of salt.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what yours look like ripe. I'm sure they will be GORGEOUS!! Then you can send me some. =)
