A few weeks ago we had these ginormous mushrooms growing in our front yard. The boys loved checking them out every single day on the way on and off the bus. It is hard to tell in the picture, but the largest one was probably the size of a frisbee.
And then one of the twins accidentally ran over one.
That's a cool grouping! I've never seen them like that.
ReplyDeleteI want to peek under there for magical little elves and fairies!
ReplyDeleteI remember when we used to have those in our garden... I was quite tempted to paint them and turn them into those "super mario mushrooms" just for the heck of it!
ReplyDeleteI posted mushrooms this week too. It all started after the hurricane. So many different types. We have the dinner plate size ones as well in the neighborhood. They are amazing.
ReplyDeleteEW - nasty and cool at the same time. I can't believe I eat these.

ReplyDeleteThose are COOL! We get big ones in our yard, but my oldest LOVES to pick them and squish them because they feel so neat inside. They never would have survived around here.
