Google's Green Side

I love when I learn that a big company is doing it's part to be green and help the environment. I use Google products throughout my day, beyond simply searching. This blog is hosted on Google's Blogger. I use Google Docs, Google +, YouTube and so on. If you are on the Internet a lot, chances are you use Google a lot too. When I stumbled across this infographic about the steps Google has taken to lessen its impact on the Earth, I was pretty impressed. I wish more companies would take initiative like this.

    There's a lot of things about Google I'm not crazy about... but kudos to them for their environmental awareness!

    Yes google can piss me off sometimes for sure, but this makes me feel a little better about them. ;)

    Very Cool! I'm not real up to speed on the shoulds and should nots of Google but I do know they put forth much effort in treating their employees great as well. I remember hearing they were nominated as one of the best companies to work for.

    That is very neat to see it put out like that - sometimes I think we all forget how much we can save by just doing little things and lessen our carbon footprint.

    Google is so awesome! I feel like big companies have a duty to offset their impact on the environment, so it's nice to see that Google does so much.

    Agreed. I love their environmental awareness, but they still need some work in other areas. They'll get there.
