Working On My Holiday Shopping

I cannot believe it is already mid-December. It is less than 6 weeks until Christmas and I am in the midst of my holiday shopping. This is actually a little early for me to start. So far I have taken advantage of some of the good pre-Black Friday toy discounts that some major retailers are running right now. I could not pass up the buy one get one 40% off of Mega Bloks sets at Toys R Us and now my niece and twin nephews are pretty much taken care of. I even scored some LEGO Star Wars Wii games for the boys at an awesome price and some really cool $10 board games.


With a large family to shop for and finances not being spectacular, I try to do everything I can to save money during the holiday craziness and stick to the really good deals. Next week on Thanksgiving evening and Black Friday morning, you will find me hopping from store to store and waiting on lines trying to get the most for my money. Whatever I don’t get on Black Friday, I more than likely will shop for online. Dragging the kids to the store regularly is torture enough. To attempt it during the holidays is just plain madness. So I will figure out what I still have left to buy, get to searching for some good online coupon codes and finish up my shopping. I am really looking forward to being done with it. It’s exhausting.
